Day 1
Pick up at hotel Morning depart Beijing and drive 2 1/2 hours to Cuandixia village. Lunch on arrival. Walk around the village's maze of alleyways (hutongs). Visit a temple. You may then climb up the opposite mountain to get a high view of the village or simply relax in living history. Accommodation is in your own private traditional courtyard residence (siheyuan). The owners will make a home cooked dinner for you to eat alfresco. You can then have an after dinner walk.
Return to your hotel Day 2
Pick up at your hotel In the morning visit Yixiantian, a place where movies have been filmed in the hills. Then on the way back to Beijing stop in Huocun where you ride a train and take a nature walk. Have lunch on the way back into Beijing at a local restaurant. Return to your hotel

These stops are usually not on the itinerary and just "come up" (ask them when booking). We don't take you on surprise shopping stops. If you want to shop we can help you find what you want at a fair price. We have no hidden costs, such charges for extra drinks at meals, admission tickets, cable cars and bottled water.
